Charlie White
- Role:
- Director
Charlie White's passion for horses follows that of his father, who was a Metropolitan Police Equitation Instructor for 30 years. Starting from an early age, Charlie developed his equestrian career through work experience and apprenticeships with top professional show jumpers including Tim Stockdale and Jimmy Lister. He also spent five years with the Kings Troop R.H.A as Centre Driver and Wheel Driver for B Sub Section, participating in many parades and the Royal Tournament’s 50 year anniversary. Further to this, Charlie has competed to 5 Star international level, including jumping in the famous Hickstead Speed Derby.
Those early experiences gave Charlie a solid foundation on which to build his understanding of the horse. He is skilled in producing horses to a high level and can provide for their individual needs and the needs of his clients.
Charlie’s riding, show jumping and horsemanship have been developed through a vast range of equestrian disciplines both at home and abroad. He has spent time working in America, futhering his knowledge of modern training methods and riding skills. Using these skills, both traditional and modern, enables him to recognise a horses potential and provide a training and competition programme tailored for its individual needs and the needs of his clients.
Charlie’s business experience and exceptional ability to immediately identify the strengths and weaknesses of a horse and rider combination allow him to pinpoint how each individual relationship can reach its full potential. Working closely with his clients, Charlie’s aim is to create an advantageous and pleasurable partnership between horse and rider.
